
We know that 2020 was a very difficult year. And so, for 2021, I think my word is “strength” and not “my strength.” I'm really wanting to focus more on the strength of the Lord and Him strengthening me through difficult seasons. I started choosing words of the year like two or three years ago. So how about you? Portia, do you have a word for 2021? But I really love that idea and know that a lot of people who are really inspired by choosing a word of the year. I wanted to ask you, do you choose a word of the year like for New Year's resolutions?Įrin: I don't for the same reason that my tree will probably stay up till well past Valentine's Day. And you know, I was thinking about the word of the year. Portia: Here in Mississippi, I'll be taking out my tree really soon and packing up Christmas decorations and thinking about the new year. Not as much family but you know, that's kind of expected.
